NovaBright is the first product from SpectraNova, a small company started by a parent, Bianca Moore, who needed a daily oral care option that actually worked in her own home. Bianca writes every founder email herself. NovaBright is made for ages 2 to 12 using food-grade ingredients at amounts with established pediatric tolerance. The melt dissolves on its own without chewing, but as with anything a young child puts in their mouth, supervise the youngest ages and talk to your pediatrician first if your child has a medical condition, takes regular medication, or has a known sensitivity to probiotics or xylitol.
One important warning: NovaBright contains xylitol, which is safe for people but toxic to dogs (just like chocolate). Keep it out of reach of pets and call your vet right away if your dog eats any.
Two stabilized oral probiotic strains, food-grade xylitol, and a small set of supporting ingredients selected for taste and dissolve. Every batch has a Certificate of Analysis. Every ingredient earned its place. BLIS M18 and BLIS K12 are among the most studied oral probiotic strains in the world, with published clinical research behind them, including a pediatric trial (Di Pierro and colleagues, 2015) in which children taking BLIS M18 showed lower levels of the bacteria most associated with decay. These strains produce compounds called bacteriocins that help beneficial bacteria hold their ground. Xylitol and erythritol are well researched for supporting a balanced oral environment, and L-arginine helps the mouth maintain a healthy pH. This is a formulation built on decades of microbiome research, not a wellness blend thrown together for a label.
